Katarina has been feeling good about her wrestling training progress over these past 7 months -- so good, in fact, that's she's been on the hunt for more opponents to face off against on the mats. Opponents who would match up well with her, so that both wrestlers would work hard, test themselves, and have a good tussle. And she's found just such an opponent! *And* this opponent would be her very first official competitive mixed wrestling match! Welcome: El Niņo!
Katarina met El Niņo during wrestling practice. He's a classmate of hers, and the two have locked horns for very brief bouts (less then 4 minutes), on occasion. But despite the briefness of their encounters, any time they sparred, they gave each other a tough time. And so, Katarina proposed that they hit the mats together for a full, official competitive mixed wrestling match video to see what would happen. Never having done anything like this before, El Niņo excitedly agreed!
El Niņo is a young and athletic light-weight male wrestler. He is fast, smart, and scrappy, but he has only been officially training in wrestling for a month. He is earnest and sincere, and he has never done a mixed wrestling match like this before... and never a match of this length...
This is a scrappy and candid match. Both opponents going at it with no preconceptions; both intent on working hard and doing their genuine best; both aggressive and always active; and both honestly enjoying the tussle. A rough-and-tumble wrestle-y tone. El Niņo has great instincts and remembers his brief training commendably, but Katarina has more practice experience, can apply her weight better, and can launch a wider range of submission attacks.
